A Matter of Motivation is pleased to announce the recent expansion and upcoming Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to be held on August 16, 2017.
Atlanta, GA, August 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- A Matter of Motivation (AMoM) is excited to announce a recent expansion. Jackie Martin, Founder and CEO, has added not only new team members but new material to further educate and motivate individuals, leaders and teams in Georgia.
“Research says that 70% of the workforce in the US is disengaged and disillusioned at work,” says Martin. “Life’s too short to just go through the motions at home or at work! There’s a huge cost to our businesses, our health and our personal satisfaction and well-being. We’re on a mission to change that by creating workshops, motivational presentations, online courses, and coaching opportunities to help equip and inspire individuals and teams,” says Martin.
In addition to what AMoM brings to their clients, Martin wants this expansion to provide a way to walk their talk by creating a uniquely connected group of individuals to work together at AMoM. “I want our own team of experienced professionals to be focused, happy, and connected to each other, to their purpose, and to the end goal of transforming lives.”
“Connected U” is one of the top offerings rolling out this fall. The “Connected Life” series will focus on personal and professional growth, while the “Connected Workplace” series will focus more on leader and team growth.
One of the signature topics for “Connected U” is “Light the Fire Within You and Keep it Lit.” This workshop is focused on helping each person tap into their own internal motivation and purpose, and express that with mental focus and intentional action at work and at home.
To fulfill the growing needs in North Georgia, the Matter of Motivation team has added new team members. These additions will serve to meet the ever-growing disengagement problem in the workforce today.

Sharron Ogburn
Sharon has been a leader and innovator in industries ranging from healthcare to manufacturing and international strategic planning and consulting. She has worked with the executive and operations teams in tandem creating service line approaches based upon the improvement of care, quality, and financial metrics.
Jennifer Gross
Jennifer’s background as a teacher and entrepreneur has equipped her to train and teach. Her entrepreneurial spirit has led her to own two successful businesses. Her knowledge in the “direct to” marketplace and her “can-do” spirit have spilled into assisting others fulfill their dreams of starting and growing their businesses.
Maria Blackwell
Maria believes the greatest gift you can give someone is the gift of inspiration, and she gives the gift often. She joined the AMoM team to share not only inspiration, but her wisdom and insight learned through owning her own business. She will lead Masterminds that will instill confidence and inspire others to lead better, more abundant, well-balanced lives.
Agenna Mathley
Agenna has been a leader and trainer in a variety of industries. Her time spent in both “for and not-for” profit organizations has provided her a unique perspective that she brings during her inspired training sessions. She will lead mastermind sessions, and work with companies and individuals within the Connected U program.
Ann Hortman
A corporate account manager with the John Maxwell Company, Ann was responsible for client engagement, leadership event execution and overall client retention. She held roles in direct sales, group marketing, and procurement. She was part of the founding team for YouDecide.com, a leading benefits outsourcing (VBO), consulting & technology firm managing group benefits, work/life programs, consumer products and financial services.

Jackie is a life-long entrepreneur, an enthusiasm junkie, and a serial leader. She brings practical tips, DO-able tactics and measurable ways to improve your personal, team and organizational motivation and engagement. Jackie also is a John Maxwell certified speaker & coach, a Professional Speaker with the National Speaker’s Association, a Change Cycle certified expert and NLP Practitioner with more than 25 years of motivational experience.
A Matter of Motivation will host their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony along with an “It’s All Connected” Expo on August 16, 2017 at Fowler Park Community Center in Cumming Georgia. With over 20 local businesses attending, it will serve to connect our community. The event, 4-8pm, will offer mini-training session, Mastermind introductions, training tips, free demonstrations meet and greet, a fashion show, a professional head shot opportunity, food, vendors and more.
