He specializes in the pharmaceutical patent and regulatory laws under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act. Dr. Chen’s legal and scientific background helps him to strategically navigate the dynamic area at the intersection of law and science.
Dr. Chen earned his B.S. in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1997. He earned his Ph.D. & M. in Phil. Biochemistry from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in 2002. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University in 2005.
Dr. Chen was named Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year in 2015 by the ACQ Global Awards; SuperLawyers® New York Metro Edition has recognized his excellence (2011-2015); and SuperLawyers® New York Metro Edition named him as one of its Rising Stars in 2016.
