Kim Darwaza Realtor - New GRI Designee Announcement

Fairfax, VA, February 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Virginia Association of Realtors® is pleased to announce that one of its members, Kim Lentz Darwaza, GRI, was awarded the Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation. Nationally, approximately 19% of Realtors® have a GRI designation. In Virginia, GRI’s represent 13% of the Realtor® population.

Darwaza received the nationally recognized GRI designation on November 2007 by completing 90 classroom hours of real estate instruction with emphasis on topics such as legal liabilities, professional standards, construction and new home sales, and specialized areas such as appraisal, financing, real estate investments and taxation. The designation is awarded exclusively to Realtors®.

The Virginia Realtor® Institute program is offered throughout Virginia in twelve one-day modules and is certified by the National Association of Realtors®, the nation’s largest trade association with a membership of over 1,000,000 members.
