The Avon with Penny Store Achieves 100% New Business Growth in 2017
The Avon with Penny Store, located in the Southern Hills Shopping Center and one of approximately 85 licensed Avon Beauty Centers in the United States, today announced it has in its third quarter achieved sales twice that of the previous year. The growth and profitability for this 13-year-old store comes months before the two-year anniversary of its 2016 acquisition.
Springfield, MO, August 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Recognized in 2016 as 15th in the nation, the Avon with Penny Store reached President’s Council level for sales above $110,000 and will, in 2017 reach President’s Inner Circle for sales above $220,000. President’s Council and President’s Inner Circle are the top two of six levels of achievement in the New Avon, LLC’s recognition and reward program.
On August 6, Penny Terry, owner and operator of the Avon with Penny Store, attended the sold-out Avon RepFest in Nashville, and was one of 50 representatives recognized for her sales achievement at Avon’s RepFest 2017 with a star on the walkway to the convention center and on stage.
Penny was introduced to the Avon sales opportunity while working as a waitress over a decade ago. After sharing her unique history with Scott White, CEO of New Avon LLC, she was presented with a handwritten letter of appreciation, and met with him and the investment team, Cerberus Capital Management, at this years’ RepFest.
Her lifelong enthusiasm, product education, and honest customer service approach are contributing factors that led to the significant increase in new customers in 2017. Penny said her continued growth has led her to consider opening a second store in south Springfield.
“Relationships come first to me and always have. That’s why being an Avon rep is like second-nature for me,” said Penny about her customer service approach. “Before, I would work one-on-one with my customers. I still do, and now I get to know each man or woman that walks in the store, too.”
Avon representatives are part of a network of over 6 million persons strong. To own a Licensed Avon Beauty Center, Avon representatives must be in good standing with Avon, recommended to license a Beauty Center by their Division and District Managers, and approved by their Regional Vice Presidents. As a licensee, Penny has completed the recommended Phase I and II Avon Beauty Advisor Program.
Penny’s store is rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau and has 4 and 5 star ratings across the Google, Facebook and Yelp.
