Benefit Concert - March 16, 2008 5:00PM at St. John's RC Church in Piermont, NY to Aid Needy Families in Rockland County Communities

Rockland County, NY, February 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Grace Charitable Foundation is sponsoring a benefit concert on Sunday March 16, 2008 at 5:00PM at St. John’s Catholic Church in Piermont, NY. The concert titled “An Irish Tale” is a delightful evening of Irish song and story, featuring tenors Jim Russell (New York City Opera) and Matthew Surapine (Metropolitan Opera) accompanied by Sol Bloch on piano. 100% of the proceeds from this concert will go to aid needy families in Rockland County including:

The Bogardus Family of Pomona, NY

Margaret Bogardus passed away on February 12th, 2008 leaving behind her husband Ronald (a custodian in the Pearl River School District) and 5 daughters. Money from this concert will go toward a fund to benefit the Bogardus children.

The Jones family of Pearl River, NY

In April of 2007 Cindy Jones passed away leaving behind her husband Butch and her special needs daughter Caroline. The Jones’ have had to make tremendous sacrifices and Caroline is now without health insurance. Without her Mom’s support she has no means of furthering her education; leaving her future options limited and very much in doubt. Proceeds from this event will go toward a fund for the Jones family.
