Version 3 of Dynamics CRM Integration with Gmail Brings Even More Functionality
The updates to Akvelon's Dynamics CRM Integration with Gmail Chrome extension includes creating and reviewing all activities directly in Gmail, calendar syncing, email tracking, an improved UI and more.
Bellevue, WA, August 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Akvelon has announced the Version 3 release of their Dynamics CRM Integration with Gmail. The new version brings more functionality and features such as, a completely redesigned user interface and experience, calendar syncing, and creating/reviewing CRM activities. All from Gmail, in addition to the email tracking for which the Chrome extension is known.
The Chrome web browser extension is one of the few applications connecting Gmail to Dynamics CRM, and it has proven to be a valuable tool based on user uptake of the first two versions. The biggest improvement to the Dynamics CRM Integration with Gmail extension is the ability to create and review new CRM entities and activities directly within Gmail. The new “Activities” tab supports all types of CRM activities and allows users to sort, filter, and search activities just as you would in the CRM itself. This feature is enhanced by the rich UI which provides the ability to see needed information such as contact details, descriptions, priorities, and more directly from Gmail.
The update includes an improved design which fits seamlessly into the Google style. In addition, calendar sync from Google Calendar to Dynamics CRM or from CRM to Google Calendar is another valuable upgrade from previous versions.
“This new version of Dynamics CRM Integration for Gmail is the best way to connect Google mail and calendar with Dynamics to get the most out of both services,” said Sergei Dreizin, Akvelon’s Chief Executive Officer. “I think people are going to be impressed with the feature set and the user interface of this update.”
As with previous versions, Dynamics CRM Integration for Gmail works in conjunction with Akvelon’s Global Search and Global Preview application for Dynamics. Any record tracked within the Gmail Chrome extension will be available within Dynamics CRM and can be easily searched, viewed, and organized with the Global Search product.
The complete list of updates are as follows:
Implement new UI and update UX
Implement two-way synchronization for Calendar (from CRM to Gmail / from Gmail to CRM)
Ability to review all types of CRM activities in the Activities tab
Ability to create new activities directly from Gmail
Create new record using CRM iFrame
Enhance the Import/Export configuration feature by adding new parameters
Supporting multiple Gmail boxes
Miscellaneous fixes and improvement
