Mirus Promotions, Inc. announced today that the company has been named as a finalist in the Employer of the Year – Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations category of the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers.

The final placements of Gold, Silver and Bronze will be announced at the 2017 awards dinner on Sept. 22 in New York City.
In communicating this honor to Julie Seal-Gaustad, Mirus Promotions’ principal, award organizers said, “This is a significant achievement for which you are to be applauded. Your high average scores from our independent judges mean they agreed your nomination is worthy of international recognition.”
Mirus Promotions’ nomination focused on the many things Seal-Gaustad did in 2016 to make her company a great place to work, which included launching a virtual training program to enhance team member’s readiness to serve clients, and initiating the Mirus Marvel of the Month program to recognize team members who best display the company’s core values before, during, and after event executions.
Also noted was the fact that Seal-Gaustad holds weekly team meetings where her employees’ areas of expertise are used to lead trainings in organizational and growth standards such as productivity, upselling, and ways to wow customers -giving them a strong sense of ownership and encouraging the core value of family spirit. Team members’ input is also sought at monthly retreats where business strategies are developed.
