Chincotech Announce Attendance at the 2018 IEEE Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition

Tokyo, Japan, August 25, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The conference will be held in Xian, China on May 15-19, 2018.

The IEEE Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition is the premier international forum for research in image and video-based face, gesture, and body movement recognition. Its broad scope includes: advances in fundamental computer vision, pattern recognition, computer graphics; machine learning techniques relevant to face, gesture and body motion; new algorithms and applications. The program will consist of single-track oral presentations and poster sessions. Submissions will be rigorously reviewed and should clearly make the case for a documented improvement over the existing state of the art. FG 2018 will be held in Xi'an, which is the historical "Center" of China with more than 3,100 years of history.

The conference presents research that advances the state-of-the-art in these and related areas, leading to new capabilities in various application domains. For FG 2018 they are soliciting papers in all areas of face and gesture recognition. This year, they are bringing the FG community closer to the affective computing and multimodal interaction communities with a new dedicated track: "Computer vision in affective computing and multimodal interaction."
