In its second year of production, the Apocalypse Experience combines professional actors with realistic special effects in a brick and mortar town for guests to experience a 45-minute live action walk through of what could happen during the end times.

Capernaum First Century Village Event Center and Live Productions along with Tammy Lane Productions brings an exciting, terrifying production to the Weatherford area. In its second year of production, the Apocalypse Experience combines professional actors with realistic special effects in a brick and mortar town for guests to experience a 45-minute live action walk through of what could happen during the end times.
Guests will experience natural disaster, government control, loss of freedom, DNA testing, war, plagues, and diseases, persecution, and even hell, among other undertakings. This year, it has added two new scenes: the beginning (the four horsemen) and the end (heaven).
“Guests can expect to be immersed in [the] reality of today’s world through scary twists and turns as well as high quality props, sets, and costumes,” Tammy Lane, owner of Capernaum and script author for the Apocalypse Experience said.
“We want to make this experience so real that the Bible will come to life in guests' hearts and minds. It will be a frightening, yet informative, Bible-based production that warns of future events so that those who attend will be strong in the Lord, know his truth, and not be misled by the deceiver," Lane continues.
The very heart of the Apocalypse Experience is sounding the alarm. Ready to face the future and fight fear? The Apocalypse Experience will be held for only three weekends in October: October 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28. While attending, guests can also play tactical laser tag, eat dinner at multiple new food vendors, take a tour of the path of plagues, and visit the statue garden.
