Witt O’Brien’s and SEACOR Donate 100,000 Outreach Program Meals to Children Affected by Hurricane Harvey
Two companies donate nutritious meals to help food banks feed children and families devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
Washington, DC, September 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Witt O’Brien’s, a leader in crisis and emergency management, and its parent company SEACOR are sending 100,000 nutritious meals from The Outreach Program to the East Texas Food Bank for distribution to children and families affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Outreach meals include instant cinnamon apple oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, and rice and beans.
“When disasters hit, children are among the most vulnerable,” said Tim Whipple, Witt O’Brien’s CEO. “We know from experience how important it is to deliver nutritious food to kids in the immediate aftermath.
