Cyber Ready USA to Open Cyber Combat Arena & Service Center in Oklahoma City
McLean, VA, September 06, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Cyber Ready USA, Inc. (Cyber Ready) announced today that it intends to open a Cyber Combat Arena and Service Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in Q4, 2017. The facility will provide a customized platform for supporting personnel from major companies ranging from senior management and key operators to IT personnel. Cyber Ready’s vision is to create a cyber center of excellence for the energy and critical infrastructure industry.
Cyber Ready provides a new and unique approach to cyber security support in the United States delivered on a world-class training platform developed by Israeli cyber firm, CyberGym. Cyber Ready combines the CyberGym platform with robust cyber consulting capability. A key element of the Cyber Ready program is the addition of the US military’s tested approach to training developed at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. Cyber Ready’s 50% owner, Applied Training Solutions, is highly experienced in the successful implementation of this military approach. The combination of these components allows Cyber Ready to create a unique and highly effective process for its clients.
According to Cyber Ready’s CEO, Jim Steele, “The Oklahoma facility will be focused on critical energy-related infrastructure. The final phase or ‘last mile’ of the energy delivery infrastructure, the hardest to protect as operators, is extremely hard to replicate and test effectively. We have worked closely with the world leader in cyber combat training, CyberGym, to develop and customize this arena to realistically deliver what the market needs.”
Ofir Hason, CEO of CyberGym, said, "CyberGym’s partnership with Cyber Ready and its arena in Oklahoma City further expands CyberGym’s growing global footprint and demonstrates our vision-based CyberGrid -a network of cyber practice facilities who will share information, experiences and conclusions learned through cyber events around the world. The unique practice arena will provide an optimal solution for practicing cyber security for critical infrastructures. It will join the already active CyberGym arenas in Japan, Australia, Czech Republic, Portugal and Lithuania.”
Cyber Ready’s Chairman, Lieutenant General (Ret) John Sylvester, stated, “The cyber threat to US companies is growing at a rapid rate and the impact of attacks are devastating. Teaming with CyberGym with its extensive cyber security experience brings a unique platform to counter the ever-changing cyber threat. Unlike conventional cyber security programs that provide ‘one solution fits all’ software and training, our program is highly customized to the client’s unique organizational requirements while protecting proprietary information.”
Cyber Ready USA, Inc. is a Virginia Corporation. It is owned equally by the RC Group and Applied Training Solutions, LLC.
