Chicago Area Muslim Nonprofit Unites with Local Muslim Community to Launch Harvey Relief Fund
The Islamic crowdfunding platform, Pious Projects of America, is teaming with the local Muslim community and businesses for emergency relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
Chicago, IL, September 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- In the Chicago's over 380,000 Muslim community, Pious Projects of America, based in the neighboring suburb of Bridgeview has launched the campaign "Have No Fear, Chicago's Here." This campaign calls for Chicagoland Muslim business owners and organizations to assemble, solicit and gather various supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Requested items from personal care products, school supplies, cleaning products, etc. will be turned in to Pious Projects of America's warehouse located at 9935 S. 76th Avenue in Bridgeview and a truckload of supplies including bottled water will be hauled via freight to a Beaumont, Texas community center for distribution.
