Church Brew Works Oktoberfest Celebration
Come join The Church Brew Works for their 21st annual (Sept. 14th – Oct. 7th) Oktoberfest Celebration. Brewer Dan Yarnall has 60 kegs of Oktoberfest to tap for the occasion. Order it in a Jumbo Mug and quaff it Munich Style at Church Brew Works' outdoor hop garden where the 20-foot tall hop plants are in full blossom.
Pittsburgh, PA, September 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Join Church Brew Works Thursday night, Sept. 13th on the patio as they tap their Oktoberfest to kick off the week of great food and beer.
Strolling Oompah musicians “The Grkman Clan” will entertain on the patio courtyard playing traditional Oktoberfest songs on the button box. Chef Jason has created a menu of great German Fare.
Entrée items include Weiner Schniztel Holsteing and Beef Rouladen. Appetizers include bratwurst pierogies, potato pancakes, green peppercorn spatzle & house baked soft pretzels with German mustard aioli.
Lunch items include The Koblenz Cheesesteak made with Kobe Beef, with white onions & drizzled mustard aioli and the Traditional Bratwurst Sandwich.
Pastry Chef Dianne Zalin is baking up Pumpkin Bread Pudding & a rich German Chocolate Cake with Coconut frosting.
The full service bar will be offering a classic Retro German Riesling – “Blue Nun” and an Elderberry Mule for a new twist to the celebration. They will also have authentic 3’x 5’ foot Oktoberfest Bavarian Flags for sale for $12 (2 for $20) at the Pub so you can take these full sized flags home for your own Decorations.
Music – The Grkmanns will be playing Oompah Music from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Fridays and Saturday Nights
Brewer Dan has confirmed that 600 Cases of traditional 12 ounce bottles of Oktoberfest were shipped out this week...so look for cases exclusively at your higher end beer distributors. This wonderful lager was nicely aged and made with 100% German Malt and Traditional German Noble Hops. Six Packs of fest will be available at the pub.
