Mark Shriner Joins Wordbee as Sales Director for North America
Mark Shriner has joined Wordbee as the Sales Director for North America. Mark has wealth of knowledge and experience in the translation industry and has worked in a variety of executive roles including CEO Asia Pacific, and Managing Director Asia for leading LSPs. Mark will be based in Seattle and leading all sales and marketing efforts across the U.S. and Canada.
Soleuvre, Luxembourg, September 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Mark Shriner joins Wordbee after nearly 30 years of success as a Sales Director, Coach, and CEO in the Asian market at such companies as The Big Word and CLS Communications (a Lionbridge company). The new North American sales office for Wordbee is located in Seattle, Washington under Mark’s leadership.
“I was looking for a fast-moving company with a solid executive team. My peers in the industry told me to take a look at Wordbee, and I was impressed with the depth of features and the granularity of control the platform has to offer. What really sealed it for me was the executive leadership,” Mark said.
Wordbee began ten years ago as one of the first cloud-based translation management systems. Today, Wordbee features a large client-base including an increasing number of Fortune 500 companies.
Anita Sempels, Sales Director at Wordbee headquarters in Luxembourg, says Mark Shriner’s hire comes as part of a larger movement as Wordbee expands further into both the North American and Asian markets. “We’re leaders now. Business has been good. Wordbee is the most comprehensive platform out there today, but we needed to shore up our North American presence. Getting Mark onboard at this time is a masterstroke for Wordbee.”
Regarding Wordbee’s North American market penetration, Mark Shriner offers his prediction, “Wordbee has been the big winner of the major translation technology companies to appear in the last ten years. If there are companies in the United States, Canada, or Mexico who haven’t heard about Wordbee, they will soon enough.”
