Gregory Drummond will oversee operations at the Addiction Recovery Center.
Jacksonville, FL, September 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Lakeview Health, a leader in the treatment of substance use disorders, is pleased to announce Gregory Drummond has joined the organization as the executive director of their new facility in The Woodlands, TX. Drummond has more than 23 years of experience in health care administration in behavioral health facilities.
“Mr. Drummond has had an impressive career in the health care industry and we believe his expansive knowledge of the behavioral and mental health field will lend well to leading our newest facility as we expand our services to this market,” said Roy M. Serpa, CEO of Lakeview Health. “In addition to his experience, Mr. Drummond is deeply rooted within the community and understands the community’s needs. He will be vital in helping to provide resources that address their needs.”
Drummond will be responsible for overseeing all operating functions of Lakeview Health at The Woodlands. He will also play a major part in outreach to the community including strategic planning, relationship building, implementation and evaluation. He will plan and manage the center’s addiction services, which will incorporate the supervision of the staff and the development and maintenance of high quality treatment programs.
“I am excited to build and grow Lakeview Health in the Houston area,” said Drummond. “There are few options for people suffering from substance use and mental health disorders in Montgomery County and this center will help to fill that void. I look forward to introducing Lakeview Health and their successful treatment programs to the community.”
Drummond earned his master’s degree in business and health administration from the University of Phoenix, his master of social work from the University of Houston and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas State University. He has served in executive leadership roles in several hospitals and clinics in the Houston area. He most recently served as the executive director of behavioral health for St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.
Lakeview Health’s Texas facility will offer partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient mixed gender programs, with day and evening treatment options available. It will be open seven days a week and will provide meals in their onsite dining room. In addition, they will provide transportation from sober living facilities in the area.
Lakeview Health at The Woodlands will be the company’s first Texas facility and renovations are currently underway at the treatment center, just north of Houston.
