Local Bergen County dancers from Nunnbetter Dance Theatre accepted to prestigious ballet intensives around the country.
Bergenfield, NJ, September 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Nunnbetter Dance Theatre (NDT), one of Bergen County, New Jersey’s premier dance schools, is proud that over one dozen students were accepted and attended some of the most prestigious summer dance intensives across the country such as American Ballet Theatre in NYC, North Carolina School of the Arts, Ballet Academy East, Bolshoi Ballet School, Katzban School, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey School, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Ballet Chicago and the Steps School in NYC.
“Our students work very hard year round to perfect their technique and performance skills. Their acceptance into these top dance intensives justifies their hard work and makes all of the teachers at Nunnbetter Dance Theatre extremely proud,” says NDT Co-Director, Kimberly Galberaith.
Located in Bergenfield, NJ, Nunnbetter Dance Theatre has been teaching and shaping young dancers since 1997. “NDT is known for excellence in dance instruction, emphasizing proper technique and strong fundamentals which in turn has helped many of our students grow into beautiful and professional dancers. Our exceptional faculty members each have extensive credentials and accolades in the dance world,” comments NDT Co-Director, Portia Moldez.
NDT boasts an impressive list of alumni, including dancers who are now members of the Ballet Theatre of Maryland, The Washington Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Tulsa Ballet and just this month, one of our 2017 graduating seniors from Tenafly, Erin Aslami was invited to join the trainee program at the Oklahoma City Ballet.
In addition to being known for excellence in ballet, Nunnbetter Dance Theatre also provides the highest level of professional dance training in many other dance disciplines including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Cotemporary, Modern, and Theater Dance. Current and former students have been seen on Broadway in Once, Matilda, The Lion King, The King and I, School of Rock, Les Miserable and in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
Classes for the 2017-2018 at Nunnbetter Dance Theatre have just started. Nunnbetter Dance Theatre classes cater to students starting at age 3 with programing levels for beginner through pre-professional and every level in between.
