Jennifer Byars has been telling stories her whole life. Born in the East Bay of California, and now resides in the beautiful state of Maine with her husband of twenty four years, six children, two bunnies, and two dogs. When Jennifer is not helping children with homework, she sits at her computer writing all the stories that have filled her imagination for so many years.

The New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world.
