Voicebrook Team to Participate in St. Jude Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer - NYC
Company proud to once again send a team to walk in the event and to raise funds from employees across the country.
Lake Success, NY, September 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Members of the Voicebrook family, local to New York City, will be walking in the St Jude annual walk/run to end childhood cancer. Employees from around the US have also pledged support, joining the "Virtual Team," and raising funds for the event. Participants will gather Saturday, September 23 at Pier 16, the South Street Seaport Museum and travel to Battery Park and back.
Two years ago, Voicebrook set out to find a charity that fit the company's mission of supporting the world of Pathology and that all employees could passionately support. St Jude Children's Research Hospital was the overwhelming choice. Since 1962, St. Jude has helped increase the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20% to 80%. Over the next decade, they are working to drive that number to 90%. Voicebrook supports St. Jude in a number of ways. Employees donate individually, and the company makes contributions aligned to quarterly goal performance in order for St. Jude to share in Voicebrook's success.
"We are very happy to once again be supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its ongoing fight against childhood cancer," said Michael Cipriani, Voicebrook's CTO. "We have supported this charity as an annual initiative since 2015 as a way for our entire team to come together and give back."
