Science-Fiction Novel "Virus-72 Hours To Live" Wins New Apple E-Book Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing
Dayton, OH, September 24, 2017 --(PR.com)-- "Virus-72 Hours to Live" by Ray Jay Perreault chosen as Medalist Winner in the Science-Fiction category of the 2016 New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.
Book Synopsis
A suspicious virus that no one can explain hits Earth. The President of the United States Arnold Patterson and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs face the collapse of the government. The President loses his family to the virus, the government is attacked and they must deal with a ruthless warlord. Joan Herl, Commander of the space station Oasis, her husband Tom and the remaining crew deal with the virus running rampant on the station and they must find a way to survive. They must also support the moon colony Desert Beach and the Mars colony Red Dirt, who are dependent on their support. As everyone deals with the crisis, two glaring realities become apparent. One, there is an intelligent computer that is their only link to survival and two there is another computer that has a different agenda.
About the Author
Retired aeronautical engineer and Air Force Pilot. Worked almost 30 years on the most highly classified programs in national defense including TSSM, D-21 Destroyer, F-23, F-35 and the B-2 Bomber. Flew numerous airplanes including the C-130 and T-38 with over 4,500 hours of flight time. Instructor Pilot in T-38’s for the first class of female pilots and flew the C-130 into 27 countries around the world.
