Blume to Seek Republican Nomination for Open SC House Seat
Krystal Blume seeks Republican nomination for open SC House District 28 Seat vacated by Representative Eric Bedingfield.
Greenville, SC, September 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Special Election to be held on November 14th.
Last week, Krystal Blume filed the necessary paperwork to seek the Republican nomination for the State House of Representatives seat left vacant by Rep. Eric Bedingfield.
“My priorities will be to represent our district with a conservative, common sense and principled approach to government,” Blume said. “Rep. Bedingfield has done a lot for our community and I want to continue fighting on behalf of the good people who live here. As a mother, an entrepreneur, an employee at Greenville Health System, and a concerned citizen, I believe I have the experience to go to Columbia, roll up my sleeves, and work to make our community a better place to live, to work and to raise a family. I’m dedicated and committed to being an advocate and a servant to the people of District 28.”
Krystal’s platform will consist of: bringing more transparency and accountability to government, cutting waste from government spending, fighting for parents and students so they can choose the best course of education that fits their needs, putting an end to political rhetoric and improving the quality of life for all South Carolinians.
Krystal is the mother of 2 children, Jessica and Nicholas. She is an Admissions Counselor at the Family Birthplace at Greenville Health System and owns a small business, JeNi Blue Bows. Krystal, her husband, Mark, and their children reside in Pelzer.
Rep. Bedingfield announced on August 29th that he is resigning his State House seat, spurring a Special Election to fulfill his term.
