Suwanee, GA, September 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Nutritional Addiction Mitigation Eating and Drinking (NAMED) program announces a strategic alliance with Dr. Diane Sherman and ACTS Consulting, Inc. Based in Marietta, Georgia, ACTS Consulting, Inc. is a private firm specializing in professional development, organizational consulting services, and CARF Accreditation Readiness. Its mission is to design programs and implement strategies and interventions, firmly established upon evidence-based research that will improve performance and enhance optimal organizational competence. With this partnership, NAMED will be providing menus for ACTS Consulting, Inc’s clients who are battling with a variety of substance use and mental health symptoms and disorders. Additionally, their clients will be able to email NAMED’s founder, Dr. Keith Kantor with questions regarding their nutritional menu, will be able to refine their menus, and receive personal consultation from Dr. Kantor upon request. NAMED will also be supplying expert articles, advertising, and other promotional opportunities for this strategic partnership. This will provide ACTS Consulting with a new tool to fight these diseases that are defined by the National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI) as a form of mental illness. Dr. Sherman and Dr. Kantor will be conducting webinars and seminars jointly in their areas of expertise. Dr. Kantor is considered one of the most prolific and read writers dealing with the issues of nutrition and addiction.
“We are very proud to be teaming up with Dr. Diane Sherman and ACTS Consulting, Inc., in providing their personnel and clients with an added tool to combat these diseases that affect far too many Americans,” said Dr. Keith Kantor, founder of NAMED. “A proper diet and nutrition is a strong weapon in addressing the various symptoms that fall under the category of mental illness.
“What was so important about finding Dr. Sherman and ACTS Consulting, Inc., was not only is she a well respected and experienced addiction professional with a rapidly growing accomplished practice, but she was actively seeking and truly believes in natural methods to aid her clients,” continued Dr. Kantor. “So having a strategic partnership is a great honor.”
Based in Marietta, Georgia, ACTS Consulting Inc., under Dr. Sherman provides professional training and continuing education in a variety of venues including traditional, on-ground training events, speaking engagements, online and home study courses; clinical supervision including in-person, group, and online; recovery coaching for persons in recovery from a substance use disorder looking to improve their recovery journey, and alcohol or other drug services including pre-trial and court order evaluations and counseling. The strategic partnership with NAMED gives ACTS Consulting, Inc., another tool in accomplishing its mission.
Developed by Dr. Kantor, a leader in nutritional science, NAMED develops precise nutritional menus for those undergoing substance abuse recovery. The program is the only one in the world that concentrates on not stimulating the opiate receptors or even suppressing them naturally through specially designed menus. This lowers the cravings for the abused drug, increases the success rate and lowers the relapse rate. The program also lowers the inflammation in our bodies, which causes the insulin production mechanism in our bodies to work improperly. Menus are added all the time and research is constantly ongoing to find natural ways to not stimulate or even suppress the opiate receptors plus balance the body’s Ph to help prevent inflammation. The system works in a controlled environment in conjunction with conventional methods such as counseling, exercise, meditation, education and amino acid nutritional therapy. The concept behind the NAMED program is to increase the success rate of withdrawal and lower the relapse rate.
