SpyWall Wins 2006 Security Product of the Year Award

Attacks on applications saw the biggest jump in the year 2005. The WMF 0-day exploit was the most serious and used the Internet Explorer web browser as the main attack channel to infect computers. SpyWall was able to detect and block that attack in real-time and without using any signatures. In contrast, it took almost two weeks before the anti-virus vendors were able to add sufficient definitions to remove the malware installed as a result of the WMF 0-day exploits.
