The TiE Atlanta Top Entrepreneur Awards recognize entrepreneurs and business owners who have achieved success and helped build a better business community within the metro Atlanta area.
Atlanta, GA, October 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- turnerboone is proud to announce that co-founders and principals Ellen Turner and Laura Boone were recently recognized with 2017 TiE Atlanta Top Entrepreneur Awards.
“We appreciate this incredible recognition from TiE Atlanta,” said Boone, who co-founded the commercial furniture dealership with Turner in 2004. “The Atlanta business community is one that is entrepreneurial and women-friendly, and we are so lucky and proud to be a part of it.”
A total of 11 Atlanta companies were announced and recognized as 2017 honorees at the Top Entrepreneur Awards Gala on Sept. 27th at The Buckhead Club in Buckhead Atlanta.
In its third year, the 2017 TiE Top Entrepreneur Awards recognize Atlanta companies that had a 2016 revenue between $2 million and $100 million. The awards are based on revenue growth, profitability, sustainability, leadership, culture and innovation.
“The applicants this year were some of the best we have received,” said Kanchana Raman, the president of TiE Atlanta. “Atlanta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is thriving, and TiE Atlanta is excited to recognize these great companies as top entrepreneurs of 2017.”
This is the second prestigious distinction that turnerboone has achieved in recent months. In May 2017, the company was named to Forbes Top 25 Small Companies in America for 2017, a distinction based on employee satisfaction, best practices and growth potential.
