Blacksburg, VA, February 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ESS Technologies, Inc. introduces the MB-XP Monoblock Filler/Capper with intrinsically safe controls. Based on the popular MB series of filler/cappers, the MB-XP filler/capper is suitable to bottle fragrances, nail enamel or other products that may contain concentrations of alcohol, acetone, etc. The MB-XP operates at speeds up to 120 bottles per minute. The machine can be designed by the factory to fill more than one bottle size, allowing multiple product lines to be run on one machine.
A compact “Balcony” design meets cGMP standards for easy inspection, maintenance, and product changeover. A unique and reliable pre-torque feature applies the cap, while the final torque is accomplished using a stainless steel, magnetic clutch torque head. The MB-XP has a stainless steel exterior and hard-anodized aluminum inner frame for ease of cleaning. All movable parts are protected with clear Lexan guarding. The control panel may be remotely located, and an operator console offers LED indication of several system faults such as low air pressure, missing consecutive caps, open guarding door and motor/drive overload. Product options include inserters for stoppers, pumps, brushes, positive shut off nozzles and a soft reject system.
