Charlie Bears Creators, Charlotte and Will Morris Visit the US

Austin, TX, October 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- For the first time, Charlie Bears Creators, Charlotte and William Morris, introduced themselves to the US on QVC. The show was very well received and there were many sellouts. One of the bears presented was named McKinley, and he was an adorable polar bear that had been created exclusively for QVC US. He sold out within an hour. US collectors are now scrambling to find more offerings from Charlie Bears retailers here in the US.

Incidentally, Beacon's Glow Collectibles was the first Charlie Bears retailer in the United States (or as Charlie Bears likes to call them "stockists"). Hundreds and hundreds of Charlie Bears have been sold to discerning teddybear collectors since 2008.

Charlie Bears began back in 2005 and had always been a dream for Charlotte (aka Charlie) Morris to create a company that produced a good quality, affordable teddy bear.

Charlie had always been passionate about teddy bears. At one time, she owned and managed three teddy bear shops in the UK. She met her husband, William, when he shopped in one of Charlotte's teddy bear shops in Leeds, UK. At the time, he was looking for a special gift for his ill mother who was in the hospital. As they say, the rest is history.

The first Charlie Bears collection was debuted back in the Spring of 2006 and consisted of only 12 bears. Charlie and Will encountered plenty of production issues in the beginning but are turning around the time it takes to get these handmade bears and critters out to retailers as quickly as they can.

Currently there are hundreds of stockists worldwide that carry Charlie Bears. It certainly seems that there was lacking an affordable, high quality teddy bear company (especially in the US). Charlie Bears most definitely fills this void. As Charlie herself likes to say "Charlie Bears, Bears With Personalities."
