Lee Spring at the Engineering Design Show – Ricoh Arena, Coventry October 18th – 19th, Stand No. A10
Lee Spring will be exhibiting at the Engineering Design Show, 18th – 19th October and will have experienced engineering and production personnel available to help engineers with spring related problems.
Wokingham, United Kingdom, October 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Lee Spring again look forward to meeting engineers with spring related problems – whether compression, extension, instrument, die, torsion or constant force spring requirements. At the Engineering Design Show they will be able to access experienced engineering and production personnel from Lee Spring to discuss their design, development, replacement and production needs.
This means engineers will be able to source from the Lee Spring 25,000 component catalogue which is available free on the stand (A10) or to decide design parameters if a custom item would be more suitable.
In particular Lee Spring have announced a greatly expanded range of DIN size compression springs with an additional 525 SKUs. These include a new DIN-Plus series which match up in size with standard DIN2098 Part 2 and Part 1 series springs, but with added corrosion resistance (passivation for stainless EN 10270-3-1.4310-NS range and plating for spring steel EN 10270-1-SH range). This greatly expands the Lee Spring offering in DIN compression springs to meet increasing global demand for metric sizes with the added benefit of excellent corrosion resistance.
The Lee Spring presentation will highlight the innovative LeeP™ Plastic Composite Spring technology, alongside many new introductions. These include 1,000 new standard catalogue products and new variants of Torsion springs, now available in 7 free angle selections from 90° to 360°. New Die Springs have been added throughout the range, including more free length options over 6" (152.4mm) and their expanded line-up of Stainless Steel 316 compression springs is available, providing excellent corrosion resistance with ex-stock availability.
A significant expansion of the Lite Pressure™ range sees larger outside diameters and a wider selection of pressure possibilities launched at Birmingham. These new selections will offer customers even more choice to find exactly the right responsive spring parameters to better fine-tune their application.
To make life simpler for engineers at all levels Lee Spring have developed spring kits which meet a comprehensive range of needs for design, prototyping and development purposes.
The kits provide a selection of different sizes and are available for standard compression, extension and torsion springs, as well as instrument springs. They are housed in a heavy duty selection case, coded so that each type of spring can be quickly identified by using a reference chart inside the lid, or by colour coding where appropriate.
Lee Spring’s expertise in materials from steel through stainless steel, plastic composite, Elgiloy (cobalt-chrome nickel) and many other nickel and cobalt alloys such as Inconel, Nimonic, Hastelloy, Monel, also phosphor bronze and beryllium copper, will be available to engineers whatever their application or area of interest.
