Willmott Dixon Interiors Wins Best Overall BIM Project
Willmott Dixon Interiors are pleased to have been announced winners at RICS BIM4SME Awards 2017 at a prestigious award ceremony held at the iconic HMS Belfast, London, on the evening of 12th September 2017.
London, United Kingdom, October 11, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The annual RICS BIM4SME Awards gives recognition to organisations who are at the forefront of delivering successful BIM (Building Information Modelling) project initiatives, whilst promoting best practice and the importance of utilising BIM.
Willmott Dixon Interiors (WDI) won the award for the Best Overall BIM Project category. The award was presented for 39 Victoria Street, a category B fit-out project of an 11 storey building for Department of Health.
The project requirements were to implement BIM Level 2 in accordance with the government BIM mandate. Willmott Dixon Interiors used BIM to successfully design and deliver an attractive, yet highly cost effective and sustainable building for Department of Health to CAT B standard. The works comprised modern offices, meeting rooms, restaurant facilitates at a cost of just under £11.5 million.
