London Summit features influential speakers, informative panel discussion, RegTech showcase, top-tier sponsors and over 400 registered delegates.

London, United Kingdom, October 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- London Summit features influential speakers, informative panel discussion, RegTech showcase, top-tier sponsors and over 400 registered delegates.

A-Team Group’s inaugural RegTech Summit for Capital Markets in London attracted registrations from over 400 capital markets participants, included leading speakers in the RegTech space and showcased start-up RegTechs with automated solutions to regulatory compliance challenges. The event also hosted towards 20 key RegTech sponsors, including Thomson Reuters, The SmartStream Reference Data Utility, Opus and NICE, all of which declared the Summit a huge success in terms of meeting clients, prospects and potential partners.

Sponsors of the Summit enjoyed a productive and successful day. As one commented: “This is the best RegTech event I have attended.” Another said: “We had a truly wonderful experience at the event and look forward to the follow up in New York City.” Another added: “The RegTech event was well attended with a busy networking floor, which is testament to the conference being well conceived and organised by A-Team Group.” The event’s lead sponsors described the event as a huge success, with strong attendee numbers and noted positive feedback from staff managing their exhibition booths.

The opening keynote speaker at the Summit, Sophia Bantanidis, EMEA Head of Regulatory and Market Strategy at Citi Transaction Services, who gave a resounding presentation on the state of RegTech, described the Summit as "a good event with the right delegates and interesting discussions."

Another speaker at the Summit, Gouri PKhatua, MiFID II Project Manager Compliance, Europe, at Rabobank commented “The RegTech Summit was an excellent event with interesting discussions and great networking exploring how technology can help us meet our regulatory obligations today and beyond.”

Andrew Delaney, President and Chief Content Officer at A-Team Group, commented: “The Summit had a real buzz. It was great to see so many delegates interacting with speakers and sponsors, and taking away some great ideas they can implement in their organisations, and for sponsors to have such engaging discussions with prospects.”

The RegTech Summit for Capital Markets in London this month, and in New York City next month, combines the content of A-Team’s established and acclaimed Data Management Review and Intelligent Trading Technology news services, webinars, handbooks and conferences to give participants real insight into all aspects of the regulatory landscape and potential solutions for their regulatory problems.

The Summit also provides best practice advice on implementing regulations such as Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) and rules around Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

In London, a RegTech showcase added insight into emerging compliance solutions, while breaks in the conference and a closing drinks reception provided plenty of time for participants to chat with colleagues, speakers and sponsors.

A-Team’s next RegTech Summit and RegTech Awards will be in New York City on Thursday November 16, 2017.
