Axacore Awarded GSA Schedule for Fax Server and Document Imaging Technology

San Diego, CA, February 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Axacore, a leading provider of software and services for document imaging and fax server solutions, today announced it has received a five-year information technology Schedule 70 contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The U.S. Congress established the GSA to improve government efficiency by providing purchasing and requisition assistance to federal agencies. The GSA contract benefits government agencies by allowing them to easily obtain Axacore's solutions to improve communication efficiency.
The FaxAgent fax server allows users to more efficiently communicate by allowing users to send and receive faxes from their desk.
The XDOC document management software helps organizations securely share documents internally and with authorized external agents.
Several agencies, such as the San Diego Water Department, already use Axacore's products to manage documents.

Additionally, XDOC and FaxAgent help to ensure government continuity in the case of disaster and are available to state and local governments under the Disaster Recovery Purchasing plan.
Under Disaster Recovery Purchasing, state and local government entities may purchase from the GSA Federal Supply contracts to facilitate recovery from a major disaster, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attack.
The GSA performed an extensive evaluation of Axacore's past performance and customer satisfaction to qualify the company for the contract.
