Positive Growth Inc. Celebrates 20 Years with Jazz and Comedy. Positive Growth Inc. will host an award ceremony on Nov. 3 to mark its 20th anniversary. The ceremony will be located at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center in Decatur, GA. The ceremony will showcase the organization’s years of service within the community and the importance of improving the lives of families.

On November 3, 2017, Positive Growth Inc. celebrates 20 years of service with an awards ceremony and concert at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center in Decatur, Georgia. The event, hosted by Comedian GRIFF, benefits the organization’s mission of “Strengthening the lives of children and families.” This year’s event is raising resources to bring attention to the importance of working within our community and recognizing the unique strengths of families. Positive Growth’s CEO states, “We are honored to be able to celebrate 20 years of changing lives for the better; strengthening the lives of our clients by helping them see that they can have a future filled with meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.”
The event celebrates the organization’s 20 year success of providing residential care services to youth (males) ages 6-21; education support services to low income students and behavioral health services to indigent consumers to include: individual, group, family, community support and resource linkage. The evening will feature entertainment from Vocalist Julie Dexter and a headlining performance by Jazz Trumpeter Joey “Papa J” Sommerville.

PGI is accredited by the National Council on Accreditation (COA). Positive Growth Inc. helps people with mental-illness, substance abuse disorder, emotional, behavioral and developmental needs to live productive, healthy and valued lives within our community through treatment and support services. We nurture our clients by providing access and support through a host of programs that concentrate on counseling, behavioral health, education, residential care, and homelessness prevention.
