Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics Club Selected to Host the 2018 Canadian Championships
2017 Gymnastics Ontario Club of the Year K-W Gymnastics has been selected by Gymnastics Canada to host the 2018 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics.
Waterloo, Ont., Canada, October 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Gymnastics Canada has announced that the 2018 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics will be hosted by the Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics Club and the City of Waterloo from May 22-27, 2018.
Over the six days of the event, more than 300 male and female athletes from age ten to Canadian national team members, will represent clubs from all over Canada. The men will compete in six disciplines including floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and the horizontal bar, while the women will compete in four disciplines including vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor. All of the competitions will be held at the 3,500-seat Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex Arena and general admission tickets will be available to the public.
