GW Pens Set to Hold Grand Opening of Brick & Mortar Store
GW Pens, maker of handcrafted pens, set to open retail brick and mortar location.
Woodstown, NJ, October 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Artisan penmaker John Greco of GW Pens is set to unveil an industry first: a brick and mortar retail shop for his handcrafted pens with the workshop right inside the store. “The entire layout was designed to give shoppers a first-hand look at the workspace, either from the sidewalk outside or through multiple oversized windows in the store,” Greco said. After founding GW Pens in 2008 in his garage, Greco had been leasing space in an industrial park. “It was a good way to expand my operations, but joining the workshop and retail storefront together into one unit like this is incredibly exciting,” he said of the Woodstown location.
GW Pens makes ballpoint and rollerball pens, but it’s the unique vision behind the entire line of custom fountain pens with unique materials that has helped set the brand apart. Most recently Greco’s work was highlighted in world-renowned Pen World magazine (October 2017). Additionally, GW Pens does extensive work filling corporate gift needs. “The corporate work I’ve done covers the full spectrum,” Greco said, “from 100-plus of the same pen for a VIP gathering, to one of-a-kind pens honoring retiring executives.”
With a Grand Opening celebration planned for Saturday, November 4, from 12 noon until 3p.m. at 4 S. Main Street, GW Pens will host pen veterans and novices alike. Throughout the three hour window light refreshments will be served while attendees browse pens that are available for sale, plan custom orders, or just talk shop with Greco. The afternoon festivities will conclude with multiple giveaways, but guests are invited to stay as long as they like. “I’m really excited to open up shop here in historic Woodstown and meet more customers face-to-face.”
