Mortgage Originators Reveal the Top Qualities for Branch Networks in Industry Report
Mortgage Professional America takes a look at what originators value most in their network relationships.
Centennial, CO, October 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Mortgage Professional America has just released its 2017 Originators on Branch Networks report, which explores the benefits and challenges of branch networks and highlights the features that make network memberships worth it.
To discover what originators value most in their network relationships, MPA surveyed readers and asked them to rate the following nine key qualities of a branch network from a scale of 1 (not important) to 10 (very important):
· Underwriting and turnaround time
· Compensation
· Communication and support
· Technology
· Loan programs
· Culture
· Onboarding, training and education
· Compliance support
· Marketing
Most originators agreed that underwriting support and turnaround time was the most important benefit they got from a network, although areas like compensation and onboarding also rated highly.
“2017 has been relatively calm for the American mortgage despite the uncertainty of where things are headed under the current presidential administration,” said Heather Turner, MPA journalist. “However, originators have become masters of staying on top of industry changes and one way they have overcome these challenges was by joining and receiving the support of branch networks. In this report, MPA discusses the top qualities rated by originators—and offers some insights on what one should look for when comparing networks.”
