Cary, IL, October 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Paul Palliser, a dentist in Cary and Dr. Ronald Durante, a veterinary doctor in Algonquin, teamed up to teach the children from the Cary Early Learning Center in Cary about human and animal teeth oral care.
To help our children protect their teeth and gums and greatly reduce their risk of getting cavities, these two doctors had a fun afternoon with the kids. While the education was to teach them to follow simple steps: Eat a well-balanced diet that limits starchy or sugary foods, the team provided an entertaining show with ample education.
They covered the "why’s" in how teeth produces plaque acids that cause tooth decay from the food we eat, by showing real x-rays and using a team of fun stuffed animals. The children were very thankful and engaged during their entire visit. They are thankful to have the opportunity to teach the community the value of proper oral care, and how it can affect many aspect of our body and mind.
