Campus Sexual Misconduct: New Guidance and Updated Title IX Requirements
This webinar will provide a detailed analysis of the new “Q & A; A Campus Sexual Misconduct” guidance as well as information that schools need to know with regards to sexual harassment/misconduct investigations and their obligations under Title IX.

On September 22, 2017, the U.S. Department of Education rescinded guidance from the previous administration and issued a new “Q&A on Campus Sexual Misconduct.” While there are a few areas that remain similar in the new guidance, the new document differs substantially from the guidance issued by the previous administration in a number of key areas, particularly with regards to Title IX requirements and responsibilities.
The 60-minute webinar will be conducted by expert Erin D. Gilsbach, Esq., who is one of the nation’s foremost experts on the topic of immigration and education law. She has presented on this topic at the National School Boards Association annual conference, the Education Law Association annual conference, and the North Dakota School Boards Association annual conference. Atty. Gilsbach is an experienced speaker at the state and national levels on this issue as well as many other issues regarding Education and Education Law. She currently serves as the Director of Professional and Policy Development and an attorney with the PA-based law firm of King Spry Herman Freund & Faul and is a founding member of the Grey friars Institute, a nonprofit affiliate entity dedicated to providing quality professional education in the area of school law to educators and school leaders.
