AOK Records Announces Expansions

Nashville, TN, November 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- AOK Records announced, on Monday, the broadest expansions in the history of the company. The privately-owned label has extended its reach into several new areas, within the music industry. 2018 will witness the launch of two new digital magazines, under the umbrella of the publishing wing of AOK. Both magazines will be widely available online, and will be free for the readership.

Bluegrass & Red Letters will feature articles, insights, recipes, and news from the world of Bluegrass Gospel. Adam Knight, AOK President states, “Bluegrass Gospel has always been a staple of mountain music. Every major media outlet recognizes the sacred songs and the influence they have had in the acoustic world, but none have been solely dedicated to the artists and songs of the genre. That is, until now.”

Fiddle & Steel Magazine will feature news, articles, and insights relating to the Traditional Country Music market. Interviews with legends will cover the pages, as well as news from up and coming traditional country artists. Knight continues, “With the rise of RFD TV and the counterrevolution that is occurring in Country music right now, there has been a vacuum created. Traditional country music has a broad fan-base and an incredible appeal. However, there are not enough media outlets dedicated to providing information about this incredible music that we all grew up on.”

Both magazines will launch January 1st.

AOK has also announced a new search for talent. Adam Knight states, “We are looking high and low for 4 more artists for our roster, who will bring to the table commercial quality performances of memorable lyrics. We have worked with artists who became major acts in the past, and know that it is all about the communication of a song.”

Under the umbrella of music production, AOK is launching a BRAND-NEW publishing house. AOK Publishing will coach songwriters through all of the related processes of writing, copyright, publishing, demos, and song-plugging. Knight continues, “The number one thing I have been asked in 18 years of working in the music industry is why I do not help the songwriters that I know get their music to the artists I know. The time has come to do just that. AOK is uniquely situated to help the writer hone their craft, while facilitating the production of demos and then placing the songs in the hands of major performers.”

AOK Records is owned and operated by Adam & Angel Knight. The company has worked with artists such as George Jones, Vern Gosdin, LuLu Roman, Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley and more.
