Blackjack Pizza & Salads Celebrates One Year in Tampa

Tampa, FL, November 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Blackjack Pizza & Salads of Tampa is celebrating its one-year anniversary, and you are invited. Open to the public, the anniversary event will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 2:00-3:00 PM at the restaurant, located at 3692 W. Gandy Blvd. in Tampa. The festivities will include complimentary hot pizza to sample and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Blackjack Pizza is also offering a special anniversary offer of a full order of deep dish square pan cheese bread for just $1 all day.

Owner Matt Blackburn said, “Our first year in South Tampa was great, and we can’t wait for this next year to be even better. This community has been so supportive of the restaurant, and we are proud to be your choice for handcrafted pizza.”

Blackburn and co-owner Mike Ulizio brought the franchise to Florida in November 2016, because they believed the fresh, made-to-order products would be a great fit for the tastes of the local community. The South Tampa location was the first Blackjack Pizza & Salads restaurant to be opened in the state.

Blackjack Pizza & Salads uses only the freshest ingredients and never frozen cheese blends for their products, many that are made in-house. In addition to pizza, the menu includes breads, crisp salads, homemade dressings, wings, and even ice cream. Pick-up or delivery (within a 3-mile radius of the Tampa store) is available.

The Blackjack Pizza & Salads franchise was founded in 1983 by Vince Schmuhl, as a pizza delivery business in the Rocky Mountain region of Colorado. Today, Blackjack Pizza & Salads operates 45 stores in five states, including two locations in Florida (Tampa and Bonita Springs/Naples).
