Scholarships for 2018 Medicare Supplement Insurance Association's Industry Conference Announced
Scholarships to attend the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance's 2018 national industry conference and expo are being made available to insurance agents and financial consultants.
Los Angeles, CA, November 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Insurance agents who want to attend the 10th national Medicare Supplement Insurance National Summit can request special scholarships being offered by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
"We are making available 25 special scholarships for insurance agents to attend the only national convention and expo focused on Medigap," announced Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The conference takes place June 12-14, 2018 at the Marriott Grand Hotel in St. Louis.
According to AAMSI, over 750 industry leaders and Medicare insurance distributors and agents attended the 2017 national Medigap Summit held April in Dallas, TX. "We want to make it possible for more agents to attend this outstanding event that offers unique opportunities for both education and networking," Slome shared.
"This is the one time when Medicare Supplement insurance's top experts and companies gather," Slome notes. "The scholarship reduces the cost to attend from $500 to $250 and is available to agents who have not attended a prior Medicare industry conference," Slome adds.
This marks the first time the Association has made available scholarships of this magnitude according to AAMSI. "We are committed to the continued growth of the industry and that means helping more insurance agents succeed," Slome says. The scholarship is available for agents or smaller general agency management who are attending for the first time.
The Medicare Supplement industry conference consists of special tracks for insurance agents who market Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and senior insurance products.
