Leila Perrin Receives Texas Governor’s Award as Business Advocate of the Year
Leila Perrin has been awarded Business Advocate of the Year by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber and the State of Texas.
Houston, TX, November 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Leila Perrin has been awarded Business Advocate of the Year by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber and the State of Texas. The Small Business Award was presented at a day-long Governor’s Business Forum for Women held at the Westin Galleria on October 11th, 2017. The luncheon keynote speaker was noted Texas jewelry designer, Kendra Scott, who was also awarded Retailer of the Year.
Perrin is currently Vice President of Marketing with the Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston and South Texas. She supervises a staff of 12, and is responsible for increasing marketplace trust among businesses in an 18-county region. A graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University, Perrin has long been active as a volunteer, supporter and board member in the non-profit, civic and business communities. She was named one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women by Houston Woman Magazine in 2009.
