Truffles for Good

New York, NY, November 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Just in time for truffle season, food lovers across the country will unite to help hurricane victims at Eataly USA’s Truffle Benefit at Eataly NYC Flatiron.

On November 15, 2017 Eataly NYC Flatiron and Star Benefit Auctions are joining forces to live stream a multi-city truffle auction from Eataly NYC Flatiron to Eataly Boston and Eataly Chicago. Guests around the country will get to enjoy a flavorful evening to help raise much needed funds for hurricane victims devastated in this years storms.

The evening begins at Manzo Restaurant with a 5-course Urbani Truffle menu curated by Eataly Flatiron’s Executive Chef, Fitz Tallon, and Manzo’s Executive Chef, Adam Hill, paired with Eataly sommelier-selected wines to highlight the earthy flavors of the white truffle.

After dinner, guests will get to indulge in a live auction by Erin Ward of Star Benefit Auctions to bid on truffle experiences. Curated by Urbani Tartufi, the unique auction items include truffles paired with premium wine from Fontanafredda, a stainless-steel slicer, dinner for six with a private chef, and more. At the end of the evening, one hundred percent of the auction proceeds will be donated to International Relief Teams, a charity that helps families survive and recover after a disaster.
