Beckatt Solutions Exhibited 3D Printing Technology at the Student Excellence Foundation STEM Expo on November 3rd, in Warrenville, IL
The third annual STEM Expo provided students the opportunity to visit exhibits and participate in hands-on STEM experiments.
Warrenville, IL, November 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Beckatt Solutions, a leading Midwest provider of 3D printing technology and services, exhibited at the Student Excellence Foundation for Wheaton-Warrenville District 200 STEM Expo at Hubble Middle School in Warrenville, IL, on November 3rd. Beckatt Solutions Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Michael Storey, was present to showcase 3D printing technology, 3D printers and sample printed parts. 3D prints made from plastic, resins, paper and even carbon fiber and other composites, were on display for attendees to examine, and demonstrations of the Ultimaker 3 3D printer were available for attendees.
The Beckatt booth demonstrated the capabilities of a variety of 3D printing technologies, including popular methods such as FDM, SLA and SDL, and will display a variety of models printed on 3D printers. “We are excited about exhibiting and representing the 3D printing world at this STEM Expo,” said Michael Storey. He added, “This show gave us the opportunity to not only show students and parents samples of 3D printed parts, but to educate the attendees on a variety of 3D printing methods, and to demonstrate to those in the education sphere about the advantages of implementing 3D printers in their curricula.”
The Student Excellence Foundation for Wheaton-Warrenville District 200 STEM Expo is an annual event focused on fun STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities for local students and parents. Students and other attendees will have the opportunity to visit exhibits and participate in STEM experiments. Exhibits from Adler Planetarium, Argonne National Laboratory, Edison STEM Club, Fermilab, Naperville Astronomical Association, NIU STEM Outreach, SciTech Hands on Museum and more will be available.
The Student Excellence Foundation for Wheaton-Warrenville District 200 is dedicated to enhancing the learning experiences of District 200 students and inspiring students to become enthusiastic and engaged learners. This year, the STEM Expo was held Hubble Middle School in Warrenville on November 3rd. The Expo drew elementary-school aged students and above (and their parents) from across School District 200. Event proceeds will fund STEM initiatives for this school year. In collaboration with the Wheaton-Warrenville Special Needs PTA, the exhibits opened at 5:00 pm for families with special needs to attend and explore.
