Cochrane Supply Grows Grand Rapids Presence with Move to Larger, Standalone Building
Grand Rapids, MI, November 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Cochrane Supply & Engineering, a Leading Industrial IoT and Building Controls Supplier, is excited to announce the relocation of its Grand Rapids branch due to growing demand in the Western Michigan area. To commemorate their move to a larger facility, the company will be hosting a Grand Opening Open House and on-site Trade Show later this month.

“We couldn’t be happier with the progress this branch has experienced since it was first opened in the area in 1995,” Cochrane said. “This relocation will put us in a better position to serve the needs of current and future customers, providing the opportunity for even greater capabilities moving forward.”
Cochrane Supply relocated from a 5,200-sq-ft space in a shared building to a much more spacious 8,000-sq-ft standalone facility. This allowed for a substantially increased warehouse space to offer even more local inventory, as well as a larger training area to accommodate larger class sizes with their wide array of building controls and systems integration course offerings.
Not only did the company’s growth play a factor, but they were also looking for an ideal location that would be easily accessible from the freeway to their company. Jon Benchich, manager of the Grand Rapids branch, was at the forefront of the move and is pleased with the choice.
“What I love about this location is that is has become a ‘one-stop shop.’ We chose a location that is across the street from a tool and small parts supplier and up the road from a huge electrical distributor,” said Benchich. “It’s going to be a lot easier for our customers to grab whatever they need in a smaller proximity.”
