PostcardMania CEO Educates Other Women Entrepreneurs to Expand Their Businesses at the Women’s Congress in Miami
The strategic networking, education and sourcing event for corporate executives and business owners adds Joy Gendusa to their speaking roster to teach women in business about innovative direct mail strategies.
Clearwater, FL, February 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Joy Gendusa of PostcardMania was not always the CEO of a multi-million dollar enterprise as she is today. In 1998, while struggling to grow her business she came across a little known idea – postcard marketing. Using her marketing savvy with no capital investment, she took that idea and turned it into a niche that exploded across the nation. Today, postcard marketing is one of the most effective and economical marketing mediums out there for businesses today. And Joy is now teaching entrepreneurs nationwide how to create the same opportunities that she created in their own industries.
On Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 3-4:30pm, Gendusa has agreed to speak to attendees of The Women’s Congress at the Miami Beach Convention Center to impart her knowledge to other women in business on innovative strategies of direct mail marketing to increase revenue.
The Women’s Congress is a combination of many things a business & leadership conference; a business exhibition; matchmaking sessions in supplier diversity and recruiting; a venture fair workshop… and networking events over 2 days designed to provide the education necessary for women to take their businesses and careers to the highest levels.
Throughout Gendusa’s career, she has stayed abreast of marketing trends and technology to help not only grow her business, but those of her 28,000+ customers. In an ongoing effort to educate entrepreneurs on the efficacy of a sound marketing plan and knowing the correct marketing channels for one’s business, Gendusa created her own Marketing Boot Camps, designed to enlighten business owners of not only the best marketing tips, but the common pitfalls that one can fall when lacking proper data. She states that educating others on marketing is her passion.
“I have seen people invest thousands of dollars in ideas that were never going to work,” said Gendusa “ which then tainted the entire subject of “marketing” [for entrepreneurs] and made it hard to ever grow a business — mainly because without their own understanding of the subject they simply trusted and paid a so called expert.”
Gendusa claims some of the best marketing does not have to break the bank and that anyone can learn from her experience.
“I’ve gone through a lot of trial and error — and I want to make it so other women in business don’t have to — or anyone in business, for that matter,” said Joy.
