BIWA Summit Announces Corporate Rebranding, Changes Name to Analytics and Data Summit
Redwood Shores, CA, November 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- BIWA User Community announced today that it will change the name of its flagship event, BIWA Summit, to Analytics and Data Summit to reflect the event’s expanded focus and the evolution of the analytics, business intelligence (BI), big data, machine learning, and spatial and graph solution markets. The name change is effective immediately.
BIWA User Community was founded in 2006 as a special interest group (SIG) of the Independent Oracle User Group (IOUG) by Shyam Varan Nath, President of BIWA User Community and GE Director – IoT, and Charlie Berger, Senior Director of Product Management, Machine Learning, AI and Cognitive Analytics, Oracle Corporation.
Shyam Varan Nath said, “The BIWA Summit grew steadily over the past few years to include a much larger audience with a multi-faceted focus in the analytics and data markets. We wanted to change the name to clarify our analytics and data focus, while retaining our broad constituency.”
The Analytics and Data Summit will be held March 20–22, 2018 at the Oracle Conference Center in San Mateo, CA, and call for papers is open now through December 3, 2017.
