Star Trek Actors Team Up for a "Twilight Zone-Esque" Short Film from Glamford Road Productions
Los Angeles, CA, November 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Actors John de Lancie ("Q" in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space 9), Michael Forest ("Apollo" in Star Trek) and Kipleigh Brown ("Taylor" in Star Trek: Enterprise) are teaming up in a new short film now in pre-production called, "When the Train Stops" slated for release in late 2018. They are joined by actors Darren Jacobs (Dunkirk, Guardians of the Galaxy 2) and Vic Mignogna, who is Executive Producer and "Captain Kirk" in the award-winning popular web series, "Star Trek Continues." Currently in pre-production, from Glamford Road Productions.
Regarding the script for "When the Train Stops," Vic Mignogna had this to say: "I immediately thought, 'Wow, what a really cool twist!' It reminds me so much of those classic 'Twilight Zone' episodes where you just don't know... what's going to happen."
Michael Forest plays U.S. Marshal Preston Booth opposite fugitive Clive Emerson, played by Darren Jacobs. Clive is taken into custody by Booth and begins a long train trip across the American southwest back to prison. Though Booth takes a personal interest in the case when Clive insists upon his innocence, the young man ultimately resigns himself to his sad fate. But little does Clive know that the future waiting for him when the train stops isn't at all what he expects.
Filming will take place in Los Angeles following the currently active IndieGoGo campaign which launched on November 6 and is 23% funded at the time of this writing. More info: www.whenthetrainstops.com
