Executive Consultants of NY Gets the Job Done, Literally. ECNY Foundation created to Expand Job Search Boot Camp™ Reach.

Bohemia, NY, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Former corporate headhunter turned career coach, Maria Themistocleous-Frey, has assisted over 3500 people with her company, Executive Consultants of NY’s Job Search Boot Camp™. The Boot Camp, an intense eight-week program, was originally designed to place senior-level executives and help them develop a competitive edge in the job market. Having worked in the “job hunting space” throughout Long Island since 2009, Frey quickly realized that there was a need for her services at all levels. And, after experiencing tremendous success in their paid programing with job placement averaging 38% and wait lists growing beyond 100 people at each venue, Frey decided she needed to do something.

With the mission of “Helping Communities Thrive,” the ECNY Foundation was created to build upon what has been done through Executive Consultants of NY Corp. There is no difference in the program offerings taught within the eight weeks, and the vision is the same, but expanded – help all people, not just executives, “land” better jobs or find more qualified and fulfilling work. “The goal for ECNY Foundation is to take the success of our corporate business model to the non-profit level, get funding and send more people through our program,” said Frey.

The foundation helps everyone - from recent high school and college graduates to veterans, moms returning to the workforce, all the way up to CEOs, and everyone in between. People in any industry, with any background, can learn tools to achieve job search success. “You can have a recent graduate and a CEO sitting right next to each other throughout the eight weeks and they would both benefit from this program,” said Frey.

One area of major interest and passion for Frey is to assist older foster children that may not have support mechanisms in place. In most cases, once these children hit 18 years, they are aged out of the system and are on their own. Empowering them to realize their potential, providing them with training, tools and an opportunity to work with people who care about their “job success” would be the ultimate goal for the ECNY Foundation.

ECNY Foundation’s 35-member board is made up of former boot campers who have successfully completed the program and “landed.” It also includes a Junior Advisory Board, consisting of strictly millennials, who are, according to Frey, “some of the hardest working people on the board.” “They are so engaged – brainstorming ideas, reaching out to people, discovering opportunities and building relationships. That, in and of itself, is something we believe strongly about nurturing. Our board’s structure gives us a grass-roots feel that is inclusive and welcoming, no matter what education, experience, or age level participants come from,” stated Frey.

ECNY Foundation is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at 80 Orville Drive in Bohemia, New York. Local companies are invited to attend any of our boot camp sessions or alumni meetings.
