Local Author Completes Trilogy Chronicling Robin Hood’s Descendants
St. Louis, MO, February 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Following closely on the heels of the first two installments in his historical fiction trilogy – book one, Song of Sherwood and book two, The Quest for Prester John; St. Louis novelist Edward Philip White completes his multi-generational saga with book three, The Fountain of Goliath.
In the course of the Fountain of Goliath’s 217 pages, the Song of Sherwood Trilogy reaches a stirring conclusion as the destinies of an Assassin, a servant girl, three Egyptian generals, the heir to the Byzantine throne, and an English brother and sister all come crashing together through a series of epic battles.
At every crossroads in this whirlwind journey, the courageous choices of a few individuals make the difference between doom and glory. As in the first two books, High Middle Age adventure and gripping action provide the backdrop for a timeless story of friendship and faith.
With endearing characters and plenty of gripping fast-paced action, the author hopes The Fountain of Goliath will touch readers spiritually while they are entertained. The book is published independently through a print-on-demand company and available through the author’s website, www.songofsherwood.com.
“Creating these three stories during the last three years certainly has kept me busy,” White commented recently, “especially with a full-time job and a family. The journey has been amazing though, and I am told my writing keeps getting better.”
