Barbara McKay Returns to WBTV

Charlotte, NC, November 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- When Barbara McKay made an appearance on Morning Break last November, it marked 38 years she’d been appearing on WBTV, first in cooking segments for the old “Top O’ The Day” show with C.J. Underwood and Mike Collins, later on her own “Close to Home” show and for the last 15 years in guest visits.

As one of Charlotte’s most popular and recognizable media personalities, Barbara appeared daily as co-host of the noontime show Top O’the Day on CBS affiliate WBTV for over 16 years interviewing top local, regional, and national experts on a variety of topics, along with instructing thousands of viewers on different approaches to culinary excellence.

“During my appearance last November, I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my seasonal recipe for apple cake. It was very special and nostalgic to be cooking again in the same spot of the old kitchen I used in previous years,” says Barbara.
