Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) Named to Chicago Tribune 2017 "Top Workplaces" List
For Third Consecutive Year, National Athletic Recruiting Firm Awarded for Company Culture.
Chicago, IL, November 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the largest and most successful collegiate athletic recruiting network that matches high school student-athletes with college coaches, has been recognized by the Chicago Tribune as one of Chicago’s “Top Workplaces” in 2017 for its third consecutive year.
The Chicago Tribune “Top Workplaces” award recognizes exceptional employers in the Chicagoland area. Companies were selected by employee surveys conducted by Energage that measured such key qualities such as company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.
“To be recognized on a list of top Chicago-area employers for our third consecutive year is extremely humbling,” said NCSA President, Lisa Strasman. “We invest in our company culture to help our team develop both professionally and personally, and want them to feel proud to be a part of the NCSA team.”
NCSA has various culture initiatives for its employees like its Wellness Credit Reimbursement program where each employee is given money to use toward any healthy lifestyle event or product, its Employee Referral Program, which grants employees money who refer a new hire, daily catered lunch, partial reimbursement for any purchase of a laptop, iPad, or tablet, and company-wide sporting events like its annual Turkey Bowl where more than 100 employees get together for a flag-football tournament.
“The Chicago Tribune has been part of the economic vibrancy of Chicago for 170 years,” said Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Bruce Dold. “We are proud to recognize those companies that stand out for their commitment to their employees and the community.”
Top Workplaces is presented by The Better Business Bureau and is sponsored by Wintrust Financial Corporation, the Chicago Cubs, Perillo Auto Group, Proven Business Systems, Rivers Casino, Uber, U.S. Cellular, Now Foods, AArete, The Prinz Law Firm, Gentleman Jack, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, Binny’s Beverage Depot and Half Acre Beer. The event is produced by Tribune Events Group, the Chicago Tribune Media Group’s in-house events marketing team.
