Operation Food Search Hires New Food Donations Account Manager
Martha Kemper to work with regional partners to reduce food insecurity.
St. Louis, MO, November 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently hired Martha Kemper as Food Donations Account Manager. In this position, Kemper will develop food acquisition strategies to support the community’s growing needs. This includes creating and maintaining innovative partnerships with local grocery store retailers, food manufacturers, wholesalers, caterers, restaurants, and farmers.
Prior to joining the organization, Kemper worked as a sales management leader at various consumer packaged food corporations for nearly 30 years.
“Martha has the connections and the experience we need to address our regional food supply chain challenges,” said OFS Executive Director Sunny Schaefer. “She will create a strategically sound plan to encourage relationships with partners who want to work with OFS to reduce food waste and provide nutritious food for struggling children and families.”
Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education. With a strategic focus aimed at ending childhood hunger, OFS empowers families with a range of programs and services proven to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthy and affordable food. The agency helps feed more than 200,000 individuals on a monthly basis – one-third of which are children – through a network of 330 community partners in 31 Missouri and Illinois counties.
